Let me start off by making some things clear. No, I’m not a far-right conservative. I would say I fall somewhere close to the middle but tend to lean right. What I really am, however, is an open-minded individual who is concerned about the current state of our country. I find it so frustrating that everything has become politicized and that people are judged based on their political opinions. My basic thought on politics is this: who the fuck really cares because we all die in the end. Might as well get a long and get shit done while we can.
The internet is a dark, mysterious place full of people with some pretty extreme ideals/beliefs. Now I can’t explain why these groups tend to attract alarming amounts of people, but I can explain a lot of what they believe because over the past couple of months I’ve had nothing else to do.
One such group of self-proclaimed American patriots is Q-anon, a more or less extreme conservative faction. Now let me make it clear that I don’t care if you are conservative, liberal, independent, whatever. What I do care about is extremism because it’s becoming a real problem in our world today. You could also classify it as hyper-partisanship but that’s kind of a euphemism. These people are better classified as extreme: they literally worship Trump like he is the second coming of Christ. More on that later.
Let’s start out with the basics. What is Q-Anon?
According to wikipedia, it is “a far-right conspiracy theory detailing a supposed secret plot by an alleged ‘deep state’ against U.S. president Donald Trump and his supporters”. Wikipedia also does a good job of summarizing their beliefs: “the essence of the conspiracy theory is that there is a worldwide cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles who rule the world, essentially, and they control everything. They control politicians, and they control the media. They control Hollywood, and they cover up their existence, essentially. And they would have continued ruling the world, were it not for the election of President Donald Trump”. That really is Q-Anon in a nutshell. Now there’s definitely some more details as to why they believe this stuff and what they think is happening, but that’s a thorough sparknotes of the group.
So let’s flesh this summary out a little bit.
First, they believe in a worldwide ring of Elite people who are pedophiles and satanists. This group runs the world. To me, their basic premise is very believable. I think it’s pretty obvious that the richest people in the world have a lot of power and influence over governments. I mean the top 1% of the upper class have over half the world’s money or something like that. So to say that there is an elite group that rules the world is not that outlandish. BUT, they kind of lose me when they say that they are all pedophiles and satanists. That’s kind of a reach there. I mean you can’t just say someone is a satan worshipping pedophile and it be true. There has to be some evidence to that claim.
That being said, there is a lot of interesting stuff surrounding certain politicians and celebrities. I mean you have to admit that Jeffrey Epstein’s death was, at the very least, interesting. How does a maximum security prisoner just kill himself. Oddly enough, when he did kill himself, the cameras were out! and the guards weren’t there! Shocking! There’s just no way you can buy the story that Epstein killed himself. I include the Epstein story because as we all know, he was a pedophile. What’s even more interesting, and what backs up Q-Anon’s claims, is that Bill and Hillary Clinton were known to associate with him. They appear numerous times on Epstein’s flight logs from his private jet, which he used to fly people to his private island in the US Virgin Islands (AKA Pedophile Island, which is where a lot of this stuff allegedly went down). Not only were the Clintons on there, but other famous people like Kevin Spacey, Prince Andrew of the U.K., former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Chris Tucker, etc. You get the point. Hell, even Trump was on there once! NO MATTER YOUR POLITICAL AFFILIATION, IT’S A LITTLE WEIRD THAT EPSTEIN WAS INVOLVED WITH ALL OF THESE PEOPLE AND THEN ONCE HE GOT ARRESTED HE “DIED”.
Tie all this in with the fact that many Hollywood Elites have been arrested the past couple years after allegations came out against them. Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer just to name a few. Just go look up “Hollywood Pedophiles” on Google and look at all the stuff that comes up. There’s an old saying: where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And there is a whole HELL of a lot of smoke surrounding these rich and powerful people.
Furthermore, there is a lot of evidence contained in John Podesta’s emails that suggest he too was a pedophile. He continuously references “pizza” and “spirit cooking” in his emails with Marina Abramovic. If you don’t know who she is just look her up. You’ll understand the Satanist claims. Also, Hillary Clinton didn’t help herself out when she deleted 30,000 emails that most likely contained some pretty shady shit. I still don’t know how she got let off the hook for that.
So to summarize, pedophilia is clearly an issue in Hollywood/among the elite and there is a lot of evidence suggesting that it has been covered up for a long time. If you don’t think that is true then I don’t know what to say.
Now for all the claims that can be backed up by evidence, there are plenty that are complete horseshit and don’t make any sense to me. Let’s get into those.
First, concerning coronavirus. They think that the navy ship that was sent to New York harbor to provide relief for healthcare workers and overwhelmed hospitals was not actually sent for that. They believe that the ship was sent to New York so that kidnapped children could be placed there after they were saved. Yup. This is a common belief. They think that there is a tunnel running through NYC that is full of abused children and that they are all being saved and placed on that ship. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me because we have heard nothing about it.
Second, and this is where I really lost faith in them, is the emergence of a youtube documentary titled “Fall Cabal”. It’s a ten part documentary outlining the basic beliefs of q-anon, and it provides a lot of interesting claims to say the least. I watched every episode and unsurprisingly, it was filled with a lot of allegations that can’t really be backed up by evidence. The icing on the cake, however, is the last episode in which the maker of the film guesses that Donald Trump himself is the guy behind q-anon and he is the one that has been leaking information on 4chan. First off I don’t think Trump even knows what the fuck 4chan is. He’s 73 years old for Christ sake. Second, how the fuck would Trump have time to go on 4chan and post shit like this:
Yeah I don’t know if im buying that one.
And if you really want to have a laugh watch this shit.
I can’t even cover all the crazy conspiracies spewed out there by these people. If you’re really interested all you have to do is look up Q-Anon on reddit. I guarantee you’ll read some perplexing stuff.
Overall, I think that it’s really important for people to understand that things like this happen. It’s important to realize that people think like this and have such strong opinions. When we are aware of all that surrounds us, it’s easier to talk to each other and understand each other. The main issue we’re facing as a country right now is that people don’t understand each other, and in turn there is very little communication between both sides of the political spectrum. This in turn leads to groupthink and hostility between the two sides because they see each other as evil.
I also think it’s extremely important that we don’t buy in to everything we hear from the media. We as a nation need to bring attention to the fact that shit like the Hollywood pedophilia doesn’t get covered enough. The rich and powerful are able to control the media and get a lot swept under the rug. And it’s also good to remember that the media doesn’t have our best interests in mind. They don’t always give us the truth, especially when those in charge don’t want it to come out.
Overall I find the whole “cult” of q-anon fascinating. I just find shit like this in general fascinating. People are willing to latch on to things like this because they desperately need attention and want to be proved right.
Here’s an extensive article that does a much better job than my blog at explaining all the nuances of Q-anon https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2020/06/qanon-nothing-can-stop-what-is-coming/610567/
